We are delighted to announce that the Club 1541 Hockey and Rugby matches will be returning on Sunday 12th December.

A Club 1541 side made up of female Alumni will take on the Girls' 1st XI Hockey side at 10.30am at Archdeacon Meadow. This will be followed at 12pm by a Club 1541 Vs Headmaster's XV Rugby match made up of some current pupils, male Alumni and maybe even a staff member or two.

The matches are open to all ages and ability. If you are interested in playing in the Hockey match, please contact Chris James (c.james@thekingsschool.co.uk) and if you are interested in playing Rugby, please get in touch with Aidan Barr (a.barr@thekingsschool.co.uk) as soon as possible.

Sadly we were unable to host these matches last year due to COVID so it is fantastic to be able to welcome you back once more. The invitation is open to all former students, parents and staff and we hope to see many of you there on the day where there will be some light (and warming) refreshments on offer.

We do ask that if you are intending to come and watch as a spectator, or if you are going to be playing and bringing a guest to watch, that you email g.smith@thekingsschool.co.uk for catering number purposes as soon as possible.

Parking will be available in the main school car park, accessible via Gouda Way for all visitors, with limited spaces available at Archdeacon to those playing in the matches.
