Thank you to former students Will Graulich, Milly Boughton, Sam Tyler and Jess Vaughan for returning to King's to inspire the current generation of students. Speaking about their lives running small businesses, the Club 1541 members were very honest and gave a real account of what life is like as the boss, both the positives and the challenges.

Thank you also to our excellent host, current parent Martyn Gill, who lead the night, kept it flowing and helped to ask the many questions posted by the audience.

About our speakers:

Will is now the Managing Director at Greenfields, Gloucestershire's leading Landscaping, Fencing, Tree Surgeons and Installers of high quality playgrounds.

Milly bought and runs Bespoke Brewery with her husband Matt. What was once a struggling brewery is now award winning and at the heart of their local community in Cinderford.

Sam and his wife run The Wandering Pizza company, a fleet of mobile woodfired pizza vans that cater events all over the country, including wrap parties for the Star Wars Movies, Netflix shows and even a family of three for a lady's 40th birthday during Lockdown!

Jess heads up Jess's Ladies Organic Farm Milk and is an award winning milk producer. Working with her family, they produce and bottle their own delicious milk on Hardwicke Farm in Gloucestershire.

Please click on their business names above to learn more about their companies and help to support local business!

The students, staff and parents who attended were engaged and enjoyed learning about how our guests overcame challenges and helped to take their businesses to a new level.
