The school was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of much‑loved, long‑serving retired Design & Technology technician Peter Gough on 22 April 2026. Pete joined King’s in 1986 and served the D&T department with dedication for 27 years until his retirement in 2013. He will be fondly remembered not only for his commitment to the school, but above all for the kindness, generosity and good humour he showed to colleagues and pupils alike. Pete gave unstintingly to countless numbers of pupils over the years, supporting them both in the classroom and through his invaluable work on staging and props for many school productions and summer balls. Our thoughts are with Pete’s wife, Lynn, and their close family, here in Gloucestershire.
The funeral will be held at Gloucester Crematorium at 12 noon, on Tuesday 26th May.
