We were delighted to welcome back Alumni from the 1940s, 50s and 60s for a very special Reunion on Saturday.

35 guests joined us for lunch in the school hall, a tour of the school including the museum to see some of their old school photos, before we headed into the Cathedral Quire for a beautiful Evensong.

Several of them hadn't been back to school for around 70 years and it was lovely to see them reminiscing about their school days and sharing stories on what they used to get up to during their school days!

They heard from Headmaster David Morton about the ways King's has changed since they left, and also the ways it has stayed the same. The overwhelming feeling from speaking with them all was how much they enjoyed their time with us, the skills it gave them to go on and excel in the exciting range of things they got up to once leaving, and how the spirit of King's feels very similar to how it did over 65 years ago.

Thank you to all who attened a really wonderful afternoon.

This is the first of our 'Decade Reunions' with the 1970s coming up next on Saturday 26th September. That will be for anyone who attended King's at any point during that decade.
