Thank you to all of the Club 1541 members who atteneded- the Lent Term Concert this month.
With Director of Music, John Pennington, leaving King's at the end of this year, it was lovely to have a large audience for one of his final events.
The concert once again showcased the incredible talent of our singers and musicians! From timeless classics to feel-good hits, every choir, band, and ensemble brought their best to the stage.
Highlights included stunning solo performances, a breathtaking ‘Hush Macushla,’ and a powerful finale of Bohemian Rhapsody with nearly 60 voices and a full band! A special moment saw our Community Choir perform Matthew Coleridge’s Requiem — with the composer himself joining in.
Bravo to all our performers and the Music Department for an unforgettable evening!
