Inspiring Leaders' Friday Fizz

On Friday night we were delighted to host members of our Careers Network in Dulverton as a thank you for all of the support they have offered our current students.

These Inspiring Leaders have given talks, attended careers events, met with students and much more over the last 12 months or so and this was our way of showing our appreciation for the difference they are making to the next generation's lives.

From across a wide range of industries, they came together for a drink and to hear from the Headmaster, David Morton, and the MP for Gloucester, Richard Graham. The former spoke about King's plan for further expansion of the Network and the latter discussed the importance of business in the City.

Thank you to all who attended.

If you are interested in signing-up to support current students and recent leavers as they take their first steps in their careers, please fill out this form by clicking here.

Coming up next term on Friday 28th April we have the Careers' Speed Dating Event, a great night where students have the chance to meet and speak with lots of different 'exhibitors' from our Network to give them more of an understanding of what life is really like in an industry they are interested in.

Later that term, between Monday 26th and Friday 30th June, our Fifth Former will be completing a week of work experience. If you think you may be able to help host a student (for a minimum of three days), please get in touch with Annemarie Williams, our Head of Careers, via a.williams@thekingsschool.co.uk
