This year marks the 485th school year since King Henry VIII founded King's.
On Saturday 20th September, we held our 485th Anniversary Celebration event in the Hall, with more than 240 people in attendance. The night celebrated the school’s history, and looked ahead to an exciting future.
With a focus on the performing arts, we saw performances from school musicians and an hilarious production of ‘The Play that goes wrong’ from current pupils.
One exciting highlight from the night was the Headmaster announcing plans to build a new Performing Arts Centre next to the Hall. We heard from former pupil and Architect of the Project, Joe Roberts.
Four alumni spoke to the audience about the Creative industry, their Careers, and the impact King’s had on them.
It was a special evening and we are very grateful to all fo the members who came along.
