Friday night was full of laughter as we hosted the inaugural Club 1541 Comedy Night in Ivor Gurney Hall.

A big thank you goes to the MC, and former student, Nik Hill who as well as being hilarious himself also helped to organise this fantastic event, in support of the King's Bursary Fund.

The other acts were the incredible Ben Harrington, followed up by Mark Row, an amazing comedian who as a teacher himself had us all in hysterics with his jokes that really hit home, especially with the current parents in the room! Our Headliner was Nick Page who brought the house down with an incredible set full of blunt honesty! We thank all of them for coming along and helping to make the event such a success!

Nik said afterwards, "It was a great night and lovely to have a trip down memory lane, hosting an event in the hall where I used to climb ropes all the way to the top, with no mat underneath!"
