New Memorial Garden at King's

Following the Remembrance Service on 11th November, there was a private ceremony to open our new Memorial Garden, an annex of the Palace Gardens.

The first members of the King's Community remembered in the garden are Mr and Mrs Beaumont and Justin Bailey, as both families planted a tree in their memories.

Mr and Mrs Beaumont were former staff members, having met right here at King's when they started teaching, and were cornerstones of our school for many, many years, including their years at Houseparents in Dulverton House.

Justin Bailey is a former student who sadly lost his life whilst serving in the military in Angola in 1998.

The Headmaster, David Morton said a few words followed by a prayer from Chaplain Daniel Rutherford, with members of both families in attendance.

If you are interested in memorializing a loved one who is a Club 1541 member in our new garden, please email George Smith via g.smith@thekingsschool.co.uk
