Webster Building Unveiled

Not many people have had more of an impact on studens' lives in King's History than John Webster.

Having spent more than 30 years working here in numerous roles, Mr Webster left the school in 2022 to enjoy a well deserved retirement.

How best to honour such a man who gave so much to King's?

This week, we were proud to officially rename the formerly known 'Maths Building', which shall from now on be called - The Webster Building.

Family, friends and former colleagues were on hand to hear from the Headmaster, David Morton, and John himself, before David officially unveilded the new sign, shown above.

Thankfully the sun shone and guests were able to toast John in Dulverton garden before all attending an Evensong in the Cathedral.

On behalf of everyone here at King's and Club 1541 members, thank you John.
