We are pleased to announce that Millie Freeman has been appointed captain of the Club 1541 Girls' Hockey team to take on the King's 1st XI on Sunday 11th December at Archdeacon Meadow.

Millie, who left King's in 2020, played in last year's 4-2 win over the King's side and commented, "I am really looking forward to playing again this year. Last year's match was lots of fun and it was so nice to see some familiar faces again! Having a good crowd there made it feel extra special so hopefully we can have that again this year and they can spur us on to win!"

If you are interested in playing, please get in touch by emailing g.smith@thekingsschool.co.uk

The match starts at 10.30am with refreshments served in the Cricket pavillion. The Hockey match is followed by the Club 1541 vs Headmaster's XV Rugby match so please feel free to stay to watch both matches and cheer on the teams as some cobwebs are blown away!

Parking is available at Archdeacon Meadow for the players and in the main school car park for everyone else.

Good luck Millie and the Club 1541 team!
