The King’s School Summer Ball is considered to be one of the highlights of the Calendar for the whole school community and is a truly fitting climax to the end of the school year.

We are planning an evening of great entertainment for all of our guests - with a welcome drink, three course dinner, a silent auction, ultra-competitive heads and tails game, the absolutely brilliant live band, ‘Tommy and the Fuse’, and last but not least, our excellent and ever popular dodgems – all of which are included in the cost of your ticket. The dress code for the evening will be Black Tie.

The Ball is an impressive and distinguished occasion, but it is also a very challenging, expensive event to organise. The Ball is run on a self-financing basis and is organised by staff, pupil and parent volunteers – we absolutely rely on the goodwill of the King’s community to enable this event to run each year and could not do so without such vital support. Any profit made this year will be given to our new Bursary Endowment Fund, which aims to offer transformative bursaries to local pupils to allow them to join King’s.

All bookings, whether single tickets, or for whole tables, MUST be paid for in full at the time of booking with the cost of an adult ticket being £82.50.

Last year we sold all tickets well in advance of the Ball and we had to manage a waiting list for those who applied late.

As always, we are looking for Raffle contributions so that the evening is a success and to this end we should be grateful for pledges of items for the Raffle. All prizes, large or small, would be most welcome.
